Dave Cohn is Aldersgate’s New Director – Welcome Dave and Laura
Dave Cohn has taken over as Aldersgate's only 2nd Camp Director following Lee Padgett who served as the first Camp Director for 24 years. Lee followed Art Logue who was the camp's first full time Camp Manager and who served for almost 17 years. Dave and his wife Laura come from Old Fort, North Carolina where Dave has served as director of Camp Grier for the last 8 years. Dave and Laura have 2 dogs named Blue and Cletus. Pass the Torch Retreat – a Great Success.
The 'Pass the Torch' Retreat was a big success. About 40 persons participated. Core Values of Aldersgate were defined. Traditions of Aldersgate that support those Core Values were named. Dave and Laura had a chance to introduce themselves and share some dreams for the future. Everyone laughed, reminisced and worshiped together. At the end of worship, Lee passed the camp keys to Dave.
