About Aldersgate Summer Camps
Aldersgate desires that everyone who is welcomed home would experience the heart warming love of Christ! Our camps are based around creating opportunities for campers to engage with one another, encounter God's love, have their faith in Christ ignited, and feel empowered to live out their faith in the world. Our goal is to welcome campers where they are and for them to discover who they are in Christ. Come experience God in the hills, valleys and creek banks! We can't wait to welcome you home!

Grand Camps
Grand Camps K-5th Grade
Rising grades K-5th can experience Aldersgate with their grandparents during this three day, two night camp. Campers will participate in traditional camp activities such as swimming, crafts, creek hike to the clay wall, a hayride, campfires and more! This camp is perfect for first time campers to make memories with thier loved ones!
Discovery Camps
Discovery Camps 3rd-4th Grade
Rising 3rd-4th graders discover what it means to be a Christ follower through fun and learning over this four day, three night camp. Campers experience God's creation through a variety of activities including hiking, games, environmental education and crafts. Campers will get a chance to beat the heat at the pool, creek, and clay wall. Daily Bible study and nightly campfire worship teach campers about God's sacrificial love for them. Discovery Camp gives children a taste of Aldersgate's traditions and provides memories that they will hold onto for years to come!
Adventure Camps
Adventure Camps 5th-6th Grade
Rising 5th-6th graders will satisfy their adventurous side for a full six day, five night week of camp. Each day, campers are challenged to stretch outside of their comfort zones in activities such as team building, hiking and low ropes. Aldersgate favorites such as swimming, gaga ball, hammocking, games, crafts, clay wall and folk dancing are also included. Small group Bible studies and nightly campfire worships offer the perfect opportunity for campers to dive deeper into God's word and experience His love for them!
Middle School Camps
Middle School Camps 7th-8th Grade
Rising 7th-8th graders will seek to discover their identity in Christ in this six day, five night week of camp. Campers will put their faith into action through adventure options including team building, low ropes, hiking and caving. Traditional camp favorites such as swimming, crafts, GaGa ball, and folk dancing are experiences that allow for campers to feel right at home! Daily small group Bible studies, nightly campfire worships and devotionals allow for campers to experience a greater sense of community and develop a deeper relationship with Christ than ever before!
High School Camps
High School Camps 9th-12th
High School campers will take their walk with Christ to the next level in these six day, five night camps! Campers will dive deep into small group Bible studies and nightly campfire worships. They will build community, foster their faith and leave feeling equipped to continue to grow and share Jesus with others! Our High School camps fall into the following categories:
Traditional - Designed to offer campers an experience packed with a week full of Aldersgate traditional activities such as hiking, caving, swimming, folk dancing and much more!
New Great Outdoors - Designed to provide opportunities for adventure! Campers will participate in our most outdoor adventurous activities. These camps offer offsite experiences to Red River Gorge to participate in activities such as rock climbing, canoeing/ kayaking, hiking, and repelling, as well as an overnight camping trip!
New EMPOWER (Formally know as Leisure Ministries) - Designed with the purpose to EMPOWER High School campers to accept their faith as their own and to live it out in the world! This unique camp offers different Major options for campers to combine their interests with their camp experience while being fully immersed in the Bible and watching it come to life before their eyes.
