You want to come to Leisure Ministries this summer at Aldersgate Camp. Why? Because we are going to be exploring the Bible in ways you never thought imaginable.
The word leisure may bring to mind a relaxing lemonade on the beach, but that’s not LM folks. It’s not some sort of laid back do nothing week at camp, LM is an in your face, rock your socks off life changing experience.

For the experienced “Aldersgator” or the first-time camper, LM week is a totally different, dynamic, refreshing, transforming encounter with God that may change you forever. We have a two-fold focus during our week.
1. The first is to equip God’s people for ministry. The idea behind the name is to offer ways you can minister to others through “Leisure” experiences. Part of your day will be spent in “majors” and “minors,” where you will do anything from creating visual or performing arts to tackling ropes initiatives to lyrical dance, water games, or paintball. How many ways can you find to take Jesus to people you know? Come discover some new ones, and have a blast doing it.
2. The second, and primary, focus is meeting God through vital worship. Every night is a new experience as we encounter Jesus in surprising ways throughout the week. This year our 2012 focus is based on the second half of the Old Testament, including the triumphs and tragedies of the Hebrew people leading up to the proclamation and birth of Christ. (LM moves through a 4-year cycle of Biblical themes)
